If wasted energy could be seen, perhaps as a yellow liquid that runs down the gutter and into the storm drains, people would demand an immediate solution. Government task forces would be appointed. The EPA would be mobilized with instant authority to do “whatever it takes” to eliminate the yellow waste from our lives. It might be the biggest ongoing media story of our times.

Of course, wasted energy can’t be seen. Its effects, however, cause significant problems that demand real solutions – solutions that have not existed before. Now that a real solution is available, we can no longer fail to “see” our wasted energy.
