TruePFC™ Technology Overview

TruePFC technology was developed in response to the question, “How can power factor be corrected to eliminate wasted energy?” We did not base our technology on the previous technology available, which used the word “correction” but stops short of actually correcting the problem. Instead, we started from scratch without assumptions. The result is a unique, on-site solution that recycles wasted energy by increasing power factor to a high level, .97, so that energy can be used according to real demand. Put another way: we can now use the power we need – without wasting the excess.

TruePFC eliminates wasted energy by sensing and correcting power factor on each phase of a 480 Volt system, automatically and on every cycle. The benefits of using our technology are observable, including an approximate energy savings of 20% (kVA) and even more significant savings in utility costs for companies who are being charged a power factor penalty.
